Emily, We Know What You Will Be Doing July 22!
Harry Potter fans, mark your calendars.
J.K. Rowling said on her Web site that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the last in her seven-book series, will be available for sale just after midnight on Saturday, July 21.
(Check her site out. It has come cool stuff there. Not sure what you can do when you click on the eraser. Let me know what you find out.)
That's one week after the release of the fifth movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," on July 13.
Rowling's publisher didn't say how long the book would be, but some Harry-watchers think it will be more than 600 pages. That's because the suggested price for Book 7 is $34.99 -- $5 more than Book 6.
The news of a publication date added new urgency to discussions among fans about who will be killed off in "Deathly Hallows." At an appearance in New York last summer, Rowling revealed that she planned to do away with two characters.
Love,
Uncle Shawn & Mr. Ted
