THANKSGIVING @ DISNEYWORLD

We're heading to DisneyWorld tomorrow morning (Turkey Day)!!!!!!!

We will not be in the parks on Thanksgiving day so we won't get a chance to have a turkey leg in Frontierland, but we will be having our Thanksgiving dinner at Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will miss you all this Thanksgiving. Make sure to open our card we sent at the Thanksgiving table. Make sure to check this blog out and our twitter feed as we post pictures and other interesting things during our trip.

JOSH IN NEW YORK CITY

Hey everyone,

Did you know that Josh and Ethan went to New York City for New Years Eve? Well, they were not in Times Square to watch the ball drop, but they were just outside of NYC. They were at friends of their parents house for New Years Eve but Josh and his mom went into the city the next day.

They got a chance to see the Rockettes Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall and had great seats right down in front!! Josh's favorite part is when the toy soliders fall. His mom likes the big bus scene with all the Rockettes.

After the show, they got a chance to walk around and see the big Christmas tree at Rockafeller Center and the Today show. Josh wanted SOOOO badly to go to the Nintendo World Store but it was closed!!! We'll, there is your reason to go back sometime Josh!!

Discover a world unlike any other as you walk through a winter wonderland made entirely of ice! Explore ten different holiday scenes made from two million pounds of ice, including a life-sized Santa's Workshop, a penguin village... and even ice slides that stand more than two stories tall!

ICE! is created by some of the world's finest sculptors — a team of 40 artisans from Harbin, China — where a spectacular International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival is held every year.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!

Hey everyone,

On Saturday night, Shawn spent the day with Josh and Ethan. They came over to the house after we met for lunch at the Lyndon diner. We played Wii and Legos . We then drove down to their house to see Santa arrive in New Freedom and light the Christmas tree. Hot chocolate and cookies helped bring in the Christmas spirit along with the local high school band.

Santa lit the tree and then headed back to the north pole to get ready to deliver the toys!! Hope you've been good this year!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Hey everyone,

It's Halloween tonight and a little rainy at our house. That did not keep the kids away, though. Uncle Ted's mom made little treat bags to give our trick-or-treaters this year. Inside were Nerds, Laffy Taffy, Reese's peanut butter cups and a box of raisins. Thanks Teresea!!

We hope you all had a great halloween and can't wait to see your pictures. Make sure to tell your mom's to send them to us.

DISNEYLAND HALLOWEEN SCREAMS!!

Hey everyone,

Check out this video from Disneyland's Halloween Fireworks show. Looks REALLY COOL!! It started Sept 26 and will run through Halloween. The all-new fireworks spooktacular will haunt the nighttime sky throughout the Halloween season. “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington, from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas, appears in a flash at Sleeping Beauty Castle and presides over the Halloween pyrotechnics extravaganza as haunting melodies fill the air. Classic Disney villains like Maleficent, Ursula the Sea Witch and Oogie Boogie join in the “spirit” of the celebration, and even Zero, Jack’s faithful ghost dog, makes an appearance.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Hi everyone,

Last Thursday we got together with Josh, Ethan and their mom and dad to see the Christmas lights at Rocky Ridge. There were some new lights there this year and of course......SANTA CLAUS!! Ethan was not too excited to see Old Saint Nick, but Josh hopped on his lap and gave Santa his Christmas list. Hope you've been good and not naughty this year!!

Sorry we have not been posting lately. Things have been very hectic around here. Uncle Ted has been very busy and will have news to share soon. Uncle Shawn has been finishing up his night class and working on his new class at school.
