LOWE SWIMMING & EMILY TOO

Hey everyone,

Wanted to share information about the Lowe boys swimming at Retriever Classic Invitational this past weekend. All 3 boys swam this weekend -- Friday through Monday. And all did great. Adam, particularly, had an amazing meet. He swam the 200 IM for the first time (2 laps of every stroke) and did it in 3:40.12. He got four B times, which is amazing since they are for 10 & unders and he's only 8. Eric swam the 500 Free for the first time and got a BB time. For a first swim, that's really good. Brandon qualified for another event at States this year, and came very close in a few others. At the meet, he made finals for the 50 fly and the 200 fly. This was a really fast meet with top swimmers, so he was excited to make finals. States is March 4-7 at the Naval Academy. GOOD LUCK BRANDON!!!

For us non-swimmers.....Time standards go: B, BB, A, AA, AAA, AAAA.
State cuts for 10 & unders are A times. For 11-12's, they're slightly faster than A times in most events. There are different times for each age group.

Congratulations guys!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work in the pool!

P.S. Emily is in the process of auditioning for Ballet Summer Intensives. So far, she has auditioned for Houston, San Francisco, Miami and Milwaukee. This Saturday she has her Boston audition. GOOD LUCK EMILY!!!!

Love,
Uncle Shawn & Mr. Ted
