10K and 1 MILE RACES

Hey everyone,

This past weekend, Josh, Jason and Shawn ran races at Grings Mills in Reading. Josh ran the 1 mile race while Jason and Shawn ran the 10K race (6.2 miles.) IT WAS POURING!!!!! It rained so hard that the trail became one puddle after another. Everyone's shoes were soaked by the time the race ended. We all had a lot of fun as Kate and Ted watched all of us run our races. Shawn and Jason ran a great race placing 72nd and 73rd out of 220 runnners.

The crossed the finishline in about the same time of 50 minutes.

They averaged 8.09 minutes per mile. That's pretty good for a 6 mile race!
