EMILY AT DANCE CAMP

Hey everyone,

You probably know by now that Emily is away in Virginia at Dance Camp. She is attending the VA School of the Arts summer program for dance. Admission to the Summer Dance Program is by audition only. She will be attending the 3 week session. Each student participates in a variety of classes taught by the Virginia School of the Arts resident faculty and nationally and internationally renowned guest artists. Classes are offered in ballet technique, pointe, variations, pas de deux, modern, jazz, improvisation and Pilates â Method of Body Conditioning mat classes.

Here is a sample of what her schedule will look like.....

Monday – Friday
8:30 Breakfast in the VSA cafeteria

9:30-12:30 Technique Classes and Rehearsals as scheduled

12:30-1:15 Lunch in the VSA cafeteria

1:30-5:30 Technique Classes, and Rehearsals as scheduled

5:30-6:30 Dinner in the VSA Cafeteria

6:45-8:30 Rehearsals, Study Periods, and Extracurricular Activities as scheduled

Saturday
8:00 Breakfast in the VSA Cafeteria

10-11:30 Ballet Technique

11:30-12:45 Rehearsals as scheduled

12:45-1:30 Lunch in the VSA Cafeteria

1:30-3:15 Rehearsals as scheduled

5:30-6:30 Dinner in the VSA Cafeteria
