Hey kids,
Some of you may know about the search engine Google. It is the place where you can search for information on the internet. It has a very simple page with it's Google logo and a box to put your search words in. Recently there was a contest for K-12th grade students to re-design the logo. It was called Doodle4Google and asked students to create a Google logo that answers the question........"What if...."
Well, the winning design has been picked out and this is what her doodle looks like.
It was created by Grace Moon at Canyon Middle School in California. She titled it "Up in the Clouds."
Grace said. "My doodle, "Up in the Clouds," expresses a world in the sky. This new world is clean and fresh, and people are social and enlightened. Every person here is treated as family no matter who they are. The bright sun heats this ideal place with warmth, love, and brightens everyone's day."
Congratulations Grace!! Keep your ears out for the contest again next year. Maybe you should tell your teacher or art teacher so they know about the Doodle4Google contest.
More information about the contest and other finalists can be found here.
Here is the man who makes all the Google doodles. Very cool.
love,
Uncle Shawn & Mr. Ted
