Hey everyone,Uncle Shawn here and I am wishing you farewell as I head off for my trip to France and Spain. I am chaperoning 30 students with 3 other teachers on a 10-day trip to Paris, France and Madrid, Spain.
We will be traveling on the FASTEST TRAIN IN THE WORLD to go from Paris to Biarritz, France along the ocean. It just set a new world record of going 574 km/hr. For all you math fans, that is 356 mi/hr. Don't think we'll be going that fast, but should be fun!!The music playing is from a famous French singer Edith Pilaf. They just made a movie about her called La Vie en Rose. The actress which played her won the Oscar for best actress. A GREAT film about her unfortunately tragic life.

I will be flying out Wednesday evening. I will be flying out of New York City for a 7 hour and 45 minute flight to Paris. You can see where my airplane is in the sky by looking up flight 118 in the lower left hand corner (FLIGHT STATUS) of this page. REALLY COOL!!
Next time I see all of you will be on Easter Sunday. I will be getting back Friday night and can't wait to see you all at Grandmom's and Pop Pop's for Easter.
