DISNEY MARATHON MEDAL FOR 2011

This year Disney tried something new – they let the fans vote for the 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon finisher’s medal.


They received over 50,000 votes – that’s almost as many registered participants they had for the entire Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend events in 2010. Receiving an overwhelming majority of votes, here is your 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon finisher’s medal:





It's not the medal I voted for but I still think it's pretty cool!! Can't wait to run it in January 2011!!! Last year I got the Donald for running this half, this year, I'll get the Mickey for running the full!!

Ethan has Ham & Rex watching over Uncle Shawn's foot as he waits to see the doctor. Doctor said the sprain is not too bad and should heal in a few weeks. Doctor showed and explained the x-rays to Ethan who was very interested. Thanks Ethan and Kate for taking me and helping me out!!!

RIVER VALLEY RANCH 2010

Hey everyone,

Check out Adam and Eric at River Valley Ranch. Adam went last year and Eric is going along this year too. They are in separate camps though. Adam is doing Arrowhead Woods again. He is in teepee #1 this year with Mr. Josh. Eric is doing Jr. Adventure Camp and is living in platform tents on the river, no electricity. The high ropes course is just outside his tent, and the 1700 foot zipline, just up the hill. He's pretty excited, and a little nervous too, I'm sure. Here are some pictures when they were dropped off this weekend. It's been a HOT week and a bit of rain here and there. Hope they are doing well. I know I had fun there when I was a kid. I need to find my pictures from there............

BUTTERBEER

Hey everyone,

Josh and Ethan visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida and got a taste of real Butterbeer!!! Harry, Ron and Herminoe love it and so does Josh and Ethan. They like it so much, they had it at their party this weekend.

I came across some other fans who tried to re-create it themselves. Looks like we had a better version at the party, but this is fun to watch..........enjoy!!
